The statements set forth in this catalog are for informational purposes only and should not be construed as the basis of a contract between a student and this institution. Matters of curricula and degree progress and completion as adopted by the faculty are subject to deletion, addition, or amendment at any time as deemed necessary. Should changes in a program of study become necessary, those changes will be applied liberally and without penalty. For students having discontinuous enrollment, the catalog of the year of readmission will guide their program of study.

While the provisions of this catalog will ordinarily be applied as stated, Columbus State University reserves the right to change any provision listed in this catalog including, but not limited to, academic requirements for graduation, without actual notice to individual students. Every effort will be made to keep students advised of any such changes. Information on changes will be available in the Office of the Registrar, from the dean of the college, or from the chair of the department concerned. It is the responsibility of each student to be aware of current graduation requirements for particular degree programs.

Students with a documented disability as described by the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (P.L. 933-112 Section 504) and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) are encouraged to contact the Office of Disability Services, Tucker Hall, (706) 568-2330. Course requirements will not be waived, but reasonable accommodations and technical support may be made to assist in meeting course requirements. Columbus State University welcomes qualified students of any race, sex, disability, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the university.
