Special Education Law for Educators (1-0-1) This course explores the legal rights and responsibilities of k-12 educators in their actions with students who have exceptionalities and the families of those students. The course includes study of applicable constitutional law, the Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act (IDEA), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, and interpretative case law.
