It is an entry level environment where MED candidates develop their administrative and leadership skills in collaboration with other higher education professionals. An MED degree in Higher Education will position potential leaders to accept the challenges of leadership in their higher education institutions.
The course curriculum emphasizes a realistic approach to leadership, management, and change to prepare students for leadership. The Higher Education specialization program prepares students for successful careers in the public and private sectors of higher education. Most classes are structured with an open-learning format to promote faculty-student collaboration and provide a challenging and competitive learning environment.
